Cheesy Chicken Crepes are the enhanced version of chicken crepes. You can either add mozzarella or cheddar cheese to the recipe. Or you can make these delicious, mouth watering cheesy chicken crepes. They are wholesome and appetizing, hence, a great snack for school lunch or just to enjoy your tea-time. I have mentioned the crepe recipe in chicken crepes.

The Cheesy Chicken Filling


250g Boneless Chicken – Boiled and shredded 

1/3 tsp Salt 

1 tbsp Chili Sauce 

1/2 tsp Soya Sauce 

1 tsp Chili Garlic Sauce 

1/2 tsp Black Pepper 

1 Spring Onion – chopped – Keep the leaves aside 

2 tbsp shredded cabbage 

2 tbsp shredded carrot 

½ tsp garlic – crushed 

To begin with, add 1 tbsp of oil to the pan. sauté the crushed garlic and add the chicken. Kepp mixing and add the wet ingredients. Next, add the salt, which can be adjusted according to your taste, black pepper and the vegetables. Do not add the Spring onion leaves yet. Finally, keep mixing on high flame till the moisture dries out. Keep the filling in a bowl, add the chopped leaves and let it cool.

Making The Cheesy Chicken Crepes

Finally, your crepes are ready and your filling is ready too.

You will need:

200g Cheddar Cheese – Shredded


200g Mozzarella Cheese – Shredded

The choice of cheese depends entirely on your taste and presentation. The strands of mozzarella or the oozing cheddar or both… the choice is yours

Prepare a smooth paste of 1tbsp all-purpose flour and water as desired. The paste should be sticky and thick. This will act as gum to stick the crepe together when folded.

Spread out a crepe on a flat plate. Firstly, add a 1 to 2 table spoons of the chicken filling and a then a tablespoon of your favorite cheese in the center.  Fold the crepes into a square, a roll, a cone, a semicircle.. whatever you want.  There are so many ways to make the crepes exciting. Use the paste a little on the edges to stick the crepe ends together and keep them folded.

Once all your crepes are ready, heat a little oil in a pan. Place these crepes 2 at a time on the pan and fry till golden brown. Flip and cook from the other side as well. This completely cooks the crepes from inside out. The cheese melts and gives you scrumptious crepes to drool on.

Finally, your crepes are ready to be served. Dab them with cream cheese and a little or no oregano. Or you can spread some chili garlic sauce or just plain ketchup.
